Live Videos

Ok, so we decided about a month ago that we were going to film/record the 6/4 show we were playing at the Hi-Tone in Memphis (the same show that we had decided release our first ep. at). It was definitely a lot of work and we are very grateful for the friends that helped us and Joel (Hi Tone's FOH Technician) for working with us on this. We brought out the Funhouse's Mackie MDR 24/96 hd recorder (along with its matching onyx mixer), a bunch of mics, and 2 canon hd cameras and went for it! I have been opening up everything for editing (final cut for video and logic 9 for audio) and have to say that the show turned out way better than it seemed to while we were playing. I walked away from that show feeling like total shit about how horrible I played, but as it turns out I might have been a little too hard on myself (which is nothing new). The footage looks great and the audio is incredibly good (thanks again to all our friends who manned the cameras and the recording rig!!).

So, what do we plan to do with all of this? Well, initially we are going to post each song separately on youtube (and higher quality versions on vimeo). We might possibly be using the audio tracks as bonus tracks on upcoming ep's. As soon as the videos are done I will post them on youtube ...
